Who are We and What do we Do?
We are Annabelle Dureau and Lance Vertigan and we are at the forefront of Leadership Coaching and Training in
Australia. We offer exclusive services in support of leaders. As a boutique operation we successfully compete
against the large mainstream providers. So successfully in fact that 2009 is our 12th year in business.
We are Unique!
What makes us unique is that our approach to leadership coaching and training is not for the faint hearted! We
take a no-nonsense approach in tackling the challenging but critical link between self-development and enhanced
professional effectiveness. We help you fill that gap between understanding the theory of being a leader and how
to successfully apply that knowledge to real every day issues. To get an idea of what we mean, just have a look at
the kind of workshops that we have designed and conducted.

School Based Apprenticeship Programs (SBAT's)
We are currently completing a commission wherein we are evaluating the effectiveness of a school based
apprenticeship model. The model to date shows great potential for assisting young people attain quality
qualifications and rewarding work into the future. This work follows on from the three forums involving
school, community and business participants, and were conducted last year in the Local Government
areas of Cardina, Casey and Dandenong.
London was a great experience!
Our second conference, the Opus International, for 2009 proved a very stimulating occasion. We met many
people who shared our outlook in terms of change and what is required to put successful change into
practice. We also met some people who have not comes to terms with these matters. This made for a
very interesting interaction between those who remained locked in theory and those who were trying to
make sense of the theory in practice. Participants came predominantly from Europe with only one or two
from our part of the world and a few others from the Americas. Just between you and us we managed to
provoke serious debate and discussion and this couldn't have been a better result. To read our
conference paper: Reflection as a tool for developing effective Leaders click here.
