Successful presentation at International Conference!
We have returned from Malaysia where we presented our paper about the role of the
leader in Developing Human Capital.  We were delighted at the way we were received
at the conference.  Ourselves and Diana Kelly from the University of Wollongong
represented Australia well.
22 nations were represented overall.  The different perspectives presented by keynote
speakers and other presenters reflected the breadth and variety of culture that these
nations represent.  The next
Dalwood Report due in August will reflect some of our
learnings from the experience.
Who are We and What do we Do?
We are Annabelle Dureau and Lance Vertigan and we are at the forefront of Leadership Coaching and Training in
Australia.  We offer exclusive services in support of leaders.  As a boutique operation we successfully compete
against the large mainstream providers.  So successfully in fact that 2009 is our 12th year in business.
We are Unique!
What makes us unique is that our approach to leadership coaching and training is not for the faint hearted!  We
take a no-nonsense approach in tackling the challenging but critical link between self-development and enhanced
professional effectiveness.  We help you fill that gap between understanding the theory of being a leader and how
to successfully apply that knowledge to real every day issues.   To get an idea of what we mean, just have a look at
the kind of
workshops that we have designed and conducted.

Presented at Swinburne University
In May we addressed students who are studying Consulting Processes for Organisations, a component of the MBA course at Swinburne
University
.  What was of great interest to them was how consultants managed the relationship with the client.  In particular they were
interested to hear how the consultant managed that relationship when the client had become a friend as well.
As feedback, Janet Fitzell, Class Lecturer writes "
thankyou both for your generous, interesting and thought provoking contributions . . . the
students were most appreciative of your insights and . . . your first hand experience
."  Janet Fitzell is also the Director of FourLeaf
Consulting Pty Ltd.  The course is conducted at the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship at Swinburne University.
